Berries Romanoff
1 pint fresh raspberries or strawberries
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons orange-flavored liqueur or
112 teaspoon grated orange peel
113 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed
1/2 pint vanilla ice cream, slightly softened
Reserve 4 to 6 berries for garnish. Mix remaining berries,
the sugar and liqueur. Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours, stirring
occasionally. Just before serving, quickly mix whipped
topping and ice cream. Fold into berries. Garnish with
reserved berries. 4 TO 6 SERVINGS.
